Dr. David G. Jones

I'm Dr. David G. Jones, but my friends just call me "dr j".

I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Dentistry in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1979.  During the summer school session, following graduation, I was a clinical instructor at the College of Dentistry.  In the fall of 1979, my wife, Debra and I moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma to begin practicing dentistry.  In 1989, not wanting to practice 1960's style of dentistry, we built our new office to reflect the "state of the art" dentistry desired by our patients.

I am constantly taking Continuing Education courses that focus on "How to give you better SMILES!"  This includes post-graduate training focusing on musculoskeletal disorders, head, neck and facial pain disorders (TMJ/MSD), complex occlusal, restorative problems, orthodontics, jaw orthopedics and cosmetic dentistry.

I belong to numerous professional groups, including the Oklahoma Dental Association, International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, American Association of Functional Orthodontists, North American Neuromuscular Study Club and the American Orthodontic Society.

I am one of the founding members of the North American Neuromuscular Study Club (NANSC), and a past-president.  This rapidly growing group of like-minded professionals is a source of support and inspiration for those of us that do computerized diagnostic care.

I now lecture across the country on using computerized diagnostics in conjunction with "state of the art" materials and do in-office consulting in other dentist's office.

Debra and I, reside outside of Muskogee along with our 2 cats and 4 Labradors (two yellow and two chocolate).  I enjoy gardening, reading and learning about computers in my spare time.
